The Capuchin Provincial Library (onwards KPK) is a private library of the Order of the Minor Brothers Capuchins (OFMCap.).  The Code of Researches in KPK defines the rights and duties of researchers. Every researcher is obliged to read the Code of Researches in KPK (only in Czech language) before he or she manipulates with the library collections. The Library's Collections are open to everybody without limitations, but as reference only and after filling out the personal report which is to be checked by the Chief Librarian.
THE LIBRARY IS OPEN FOR RESEARCHES:
Thursdays: from 9 a.m. to 3,30 p.m. with a lunch break from 12,30 p.m. to 1,30 p.m.
Other days are negotiable only in case of a long term investigation and with consent of the Chief Librarian.
Consulting the Library's Collections is procured by the Chief Librarian. It is necessary to order the books at least one day in advance by filling out the form online or by phone (+420-233-103-323); alternatively you can submit the request for books personally in the morning and you get the books afternoon after the lunch break. The KPK's Book Catalogue is included in this web. It is not allowed to carry the books out of the study hall. Loans are possible exceptionally only with a consent of the respective authority according to the KPK's Statutes. If somebody is interested in consulting the books in the BRNO's branch, it is necessary to submit the request one month in advance. The researchers can make use of a PC with the Internet connection reserved only for searching in the Library Catalogue and browsing the Internet.
